More Training on Mt. Ruapahu
Another great weekend up on Mt. Ruapahu this weekend, our last one on the Snowcraft Course. On Saturday our group, "The Green Team" set off at 8am for the top, and to do a few pitches if we could find some steep bits. We had great fun and great views from the top.
Sunday, doing some more pitches close to the hut, and getting some additional expert tricks and advice from Ray Button (a well known NZ climber) who was with us to have a look a our course for the NZAC. To Jess, Colin, Chris and all the other instructors, participants in Snowcraft, learnt heeps & had a ball!!! – thanks. |
