Down the valley
While a couple of our team left to first explore the Goko Lakes, the rest of use decided descend directly to our next camp down a the valley for an relatively easy day, down the valley thru Marchamo for lunch and then onto Lhafarma, one of our Sherpa’s own tea houses. A lovely small Tea House “all by itself” built into the rocks, high on the side of the valley with fantastic views of the mountains around. I had quick ‘shower’ under bucket of hot water.
In clean clothes, and breathing thicker air I felt fantastic! For the first time since Kathmandu we indulged in a couple of local San Miguel beers. Went straight to my head!!
