ON TO KHUMJUNG

After a leisurely descent down the valley we climbed a mother of a hill, (biggest yet) was very steep and seemed to go on forever!! Eventually we arrived at Khumjung, a large town above Namche. The famous Hillary School is here too! But….it also had a renowned bakery & coffee shop!!! There was quite a bit of interest in this, and some of us managed to sneak away to savour! Not quite like Ponsonby, but after 4 weeks it away it was yum!
