THANKS TO THE PORTERS

After dropping down to Khumjung, we had the comfort of a teahouse again and much welcomed warmer temperatures.

At night we thanked the porters and had a bit of a party.

The porters drank “CHAI” which Looked like milk but was alcoholic. Was going to try some, but Tim warned against it. However, I did partake in a few bears and then some Nepal whisky!! A fun night with lots of dancing. I must admit I was a bit of a ringleader dragging up people for a dance. Got quite cheerful and we all stayed up later than with we had done in five weeks. A few slight hangovers I think!

Today we dropped to Namche for a bit of shopping & lunch and then down the big Namche hill to Monza for the night. So pleased we were not going up it again!!
