LIFT OF TO KATHMANDU

Early in the morning we had fingers crossed for a successful “lift off” from the Lukla Runway, and in only ½ hour we were back in the chaos of Kathmandu!

We had goodbye celebration dinner at the Third Eye Restaurant, Lots of “Yak steak” & chips, Food we had stayed away from at altitude.

It was also a final goodbye from some of the Sherpas who did not leave us at Lukla, where they presented us with good luck silk scarves..

A lovely night with a bit of sadness, saying goodbye to those who helped me so much!
